Use these questions to compare proposals and prepare your first conversation. Availability, prices and final scope need written confirmation for your event.
Can a Bangalore team plan a wedding elsewhere in Karnataka?
Yes. The Bangalore Wedding House is based in Bengaluru and plans and decorates weddings across Karnataka. Share the actual venue and event schedule so travel, transport, installation access and accommodation can be scoped separately.
What should a wedding planning and decor quote include?
Compare the same events, guest counts and venue spaces. Ask for the planning fee, design and production scope, flowers, furniture, lighting, transport, installation, dismantling and exclusions as separate lines. A reference photograph alone is not a complete production specification.
How do we know the decor will fit our venue?
Start with the usable space, ceremony orientation, seating, aisles and service routes. Agree on stage and mandap dimensions, quantities and the venue’s restrictions before approving a design. A visual concept should identify anything still awaiting a site measurement.
How many guests does the venue really need to hold?
Size the venue to the number of people present during the muhurtham hour, not the number on the invitation list. At most South Indian weddings guests arrive across the morning and leave after eating, so the peak in the hall is usually well below the invited total. A venue's top capacity figure is the largest layout it lists; planning right up to it is where the food and parking queues build.
When should we book a Bangalore wedding venue?
Fix the muhurtham first, then book the hall in the same fortnight. The strongest dates in the calendar concentrate demand, so a well-known venue's morning slot on those dates goes long before the season starts. A weekday or off-season date is often still open later and usually easier to negotiate.
Can we plan from abroad with one visit?
Yes. The venue conversation, site visit and walkthrough can run on video in your time zone, and quotes and decor drawings come as documents you can forward to family. Use the calls to agree a brief and shortlist, and keep the one visit for the walkthrough, design review and decisions that need you in the room. Confirm appointments before you travel.
Are you only for Kannada weddings?
No. We plan and decorate weddings across Karnataka for couples and families from different backgrounds. Ritual-specific guides help with particular ceremonies; they do not restrict whom the studio works with.
What should we settle before paying an advance?
Confirm the contracting business, named project contact, written scope, payment milestones, change approval process and cancellation terms. Keep venue and vendor confirmations attached to the same plan so an informal message cannot silently change the agreed scope.
